Toews Environmental is founded on the proven technical excellence and professional relationships developed by Jay Toews, P. Biol., R.P.Bio., C.Chem., P.Chem. in his 27 years of diverse experience in aquatic research and consulting.  Joined by senior terrestrial biologist Don McDonald, M.Sc., Toews Environmental has over 60 years of experience in aquatic and terrestrial environmental science between two senior scientists, now supported by junior scientists in aquatic chemistry, toxicology and biology.

Previously the Western Canada Technical Lead for Water and Natural Resources in a global consulting firm, Jay Toews now brings this technical leadership, at lower costs, to client-focused relationships in projects locally and nationally.  Toews Environmental serves as a hub of experience and expertise backed by scientific and engineering teams chosen specifically for individual projects, ensuring clients have access to the right professionals for the job.

Providing regulatory liaison, specialized senior technical support in aquatic ecology and chemistry, or project management in complex, multidisciplinary scientific and engineering projects, Toews Environmental brings quality and credibility to projects with personal attention and a focus on practical recommendations and solutions.
